Where I’ve worked

Three chapters, quite different from each other. The first one taught me discipline. The next ones taught me the job.

  1. 2023 — present
    Bucharest

    Senior Technical NCO

IT Bureau — Romanian Gendarmerie, Bucharest

I look after the servers, the accounts, and more than 500 PCs. I also write the internal apps we use every day.

    • Keep the unit’s IT running
    • Windows Server and managed switches
    • Accounts and rules through Active Directory
    • 500+ PCs: when they break, when they need a clean-up, when something has to change
    • Internal apps, from the first idea to something people open in the morning
  2. 2022 — 2023
    Bucharest

    Senior Technical NCO

Special Communications Bureau — Romanian Gendarmerie, Bucharest

Communications. When something drops, it has to come back up — sometimes in conditions where you don’t get to sit and think.

    • Maintenance and support on the telecom side
    • Quick diagnosis and repair, including on tougher deployments
  3. 2019 — 2022
    Râmnicu Vâlcea

    Senior Operations NCO

    Vâlcea County Gendarmerie Inspectorate

Missions, a schedule, a team. That’s where I picked up the habit of seeing a job through, even when it’s tiring.

    • Public-order missions, by the book
    • Training, and looking after the people next to me
    • Work under pressure, with clear rules

If this sounds like a fit, write to me

A couple of lines is enough. I’ll reply myself, usually the same day or the next.
