Web apps

A clear site that loads, where you can change a bit of text without calling me. Not forty plugins for the sake of it.

Install, run, policy, switches, PCs. I come from an office with hundreds of machines, so I know what this looks like at scale, not just on one laptop.

A bit of security, done practically

Who is allowed where, passwords, a hardened server. The training is from a government setting, applied to a company that doesn’t have a security team.

Python scripts, so you can stop copy-pasting

Comparing documents, imports, reports. The repetitive work taken out of Excel, with a script you can run again next month.

I built it for homeowners’ associations: check the balance, send the water reading, download a receipt, talk to the admin. No more papers going missing in the stairwell.

SimplityByB

A community site, built for a client: articles by topic, a forum with accounts, live workshops, and a paid membership that opens the private area. It has a light and a dark theme, search, and pages that change once you are subscribed.

A platform in pieces: forecasts, optimisation, market data, and a bit of risk analysis. I kept the modules apart so I could change one without breaking the rest.

DOComparison

A Python script that puts two files (Excel or Word) side by side, matching on keys, not on row numbers. You see what changed before the mistake lands in accounting.

I started on operations, moved through communications, and now I look after the computers of a whole unit.
